Mrs. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural, dual-language social worker. She has more than 13 years' experience working within non-profits. She's worked in a diverse range of settings for example, with LGBTQ+ individuals, people suffering from addiction issues and survivors of sexual assault, as well as partners who were sexually assaulted. She's worked with Erie patients since 2019. The clinic is now offering Telehealth Health services. Mrs. Rivas works with women who are pregnant or postpartum as part of the Perinatal Behavioral Team. She is a specialist in trauma-informed care and provides EMDR for adults. Also, she offers individual and group therapy, medication-assisted treatment as well as referrals to specialty services and Women's Support groups. Amanda is a Best Friends Animal Society volunteer, helping to find permanent homes for homeless animals. She is committed to her belief in the Best Friends motto, Save Them All, and would like to make Los Angeles turn into a "no kill" city.
